Igor Kravchuk began his hockey career with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 1983. In 1987 he joined CSKA Moskva and played there until 1991. With CSKA Moskva Kravchuk won two Soviet titles (1988, 1989) and three European Champions Cup titles (1988-90). In 1991 Kravchuk was drafted by the Chicago Black Hawks as the 71st overall choice, and in the next 12 seasons played with the Black Hawks (1991-93), Edmonton Oilers (1993-96), St. Louis Blues (1996-97), Ottawa Senators (1997-2001), Calgary Flames (2001-2002) and Florida Panthers (2002-2003). Internationally, besides his four Olympic medals, Kravchuk was on the 1990 World Champions and the 1991 European Champions. He also won a bronze at the 1991 World Championships, silver at the 1990 European Championships and silver at the 1987 Canada Cup. After retirement from competition, Kravchuk has worked as the hockey coach at Harrington College of Canada.
