General Interest

After a disappointing result at the 2016 National Championships she decided to completely overhaul her technique. She then realised that her new style was similar to that of fellow Canadian diver Jennifer Abel, who was looking for a new 3m synchronised springboard partner. They began training together in late 2016. "[Jennifer is] my best friend, but she's also the person I admire the most in diving. I'm still learning every day alongside Jennifer. Her work ethic is impeccable. It motivates me. I want to be the best I can be around her. We are very close, we are friends, but as an athlete, I will observe her, I will see how she handles different situations. Just trusting each other is a lot." (, 01 May 2021;, 01 Jan 2020;, 22 Feb 2019)

In 2020 she finished a nursing science degree at the University of Montreal in Canada. She completed it when no diving competitions were taking place by studying 12 hours a day for six months while maintaining a training regimen. (, 01 Jan 2020)
