NOVOLODSKAIA is the more experienced of the two riders representing ROC, and claimed silver with Diana KLIMOVA at the 2020 European Ch in Plovdiv. The same pairing also won bronze at the 2019 European Games in Minsk.
First appearance for Shannon McCURLEY and Emily KAY together at a major tournament. The pair finished 7th at 2019/20 Milton, ON, WCup event. McCURLEY became Ireland's first track cycling Olympian in 2016, competing in the keirin. KAY won bronze in the scratch at 2018 CWG representing GBR. She switched nationality to compete for Ireland in 2019.
NAKAMURA Kisato and KAJIHARA Yumi won gold at 2018 Asian Ch, 5th in 2019. Won at 2021 Hong Kong. Finished 11th at 2019/20 Glasgow WCup event. Have only had four international event starts together. Both athletes have represented Japan at the WCh, but competed in a different pairing. KAJIHARA's best result is 11th at 2019 WCh with FURUYAMA Kie, while NAKAMURA placed 15th with her at 2020 WCh.
