General Interest

General
LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER
She says competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo is the fulfilment of a dream, after her mother, Loredana Auletta, competed for Italy at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. "I feel like this has always been my destiny. Going to the Olympics exactly 20 years after my mum went is unreal. The number 20 is a very important number to my family and I get goosebumps every time I think about it. This is the best team Italy has ever had. We're not just going to the Olympics to participate, we're going to win a medal." (mcneesesports.com, 30 Jul 2019)
