"I began playing baseball at age four because my brother did. At age nine I played against boys and I was called up to the youth world championship, but later I was told that as I was a girl I only could watch the games from the stands. I cried so much, but I kept that desire to represent Mexico, so I began playing softball." (elheraldodemexico.com, 22 Nov 2019)

PLAYING IN THE UNITED STATES
She studied at San Diego State University in the United States of America, where she played for two seasons. "In the United States I gained a lot of experience and knowledge." (profastpitch.com, 01 Jun 2019; estadiodeportes.mx, 21 May 2019)

VERSATILE PLAYER
She says she can play in several positions. "[I can play] wherever and whatever might be needed in order to help the team. I can play on base, at shortstop or any place in the outfield.
