HYPERANDROGENISM
She has hyperandrogenism, a condition characterised by the production of more testosterone than women without the condition. She has been affected by eligibility rules introduced in 2018 by the International Association of Athletics Federations on athletes with differences of sexual development [DSD] that impact the 800m event in which she won silver at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
