How to get to the recommended station:

Access by car

Drive yourself to the following parking lot, and then take the shuttle bus from there.

  • Get off at Ema IC on the National Route 136 (Izu Chuodo) and drive to Izu FM Plant of the Kimura Foundry Co., Ltd. (about 5 minutes from Ema IC). Park your vehicle at the Park and take the shuttle bus (about 30 minutes’ ride).
  • Get off at Nagaoka-kita Interchange IC on the National Route 136 (Izu Chuodo) and drive to Izunokuni City Nagaoka Gymnasium North parking lot (about 5 minutes from Nagaoka-kita Interchange IC). Park your vehicle at the Park and take the shuttle bus (about 30 minutes’ ride).

Access by train

Take the train to the following station and then take the shuttle bus from there.

  • Get off at Ito Station on the JR Itp Line and Izu Kyuko Line and take the shuttle bus (about 35 minutes’ ride).
  • Get off at Shuzenji Station on the Izuhakone Railway and take the shuttle bus (about 15 minutes’ ride).

*Visitors who have difficulties advancing smoothly, such as peopl e using wheelchairs, are advised to access the venue from Ito Station.

*You cannot use IC travel card at Shuzenji Station. Purchase a ticket at the departure station for this station.

*Large crowds are expected at Mishima Station (the transfer station). Buy a connecting ticket in advance that allows you to ride on both JR and Izuhakone Railway.

*Due to large crowds leaving the venue after the competition, it will take longer than expected to get to the station. We advise you to allow for extra time when reserving a train ticket.

Reservations are required for shuttle bus and park & ride services.

To use the services, check the locations and service time on the reservation website and follow the instructions to make a reservation.

*The park & bus ride service offered at this venue allows users to drive their own vehicle to a parking space and then take a bus from the parking space to the destination.

Exclusive service for wheelchair users

An accessible shuttle service will run exclusively for wheelchair users from Ito Station to the competition venue. Please make a reservation on the reservation website to use the service.

*Limited to (1) ticket holder and (1) accompanied patron.

Traffic precautions

*Please use public transport or park & ride services, as there is no car/bicycle parking or taxi stand for spectators at the venue.

*Public transport and routes to the venue are expected to be very crowded. Bags and body temperatures of all visitors will be checked at the venue entrance. It may therefore take longer than expected to get to the spectating area. Please allow for extra time.

*Large crowds are also expected when leaving the venue. Please help alleviate the crowdedness.

Useful Information

  • Bring your ticket & ID

    Please bring your ID with your ticket. Please bring a "home print ticket” which you print yourself in advance. (2D barcode needs to be certified to enter.)

  • Preparation for weather

    Please prepare for the heat by putting on a hat and sunscreen, bringing a parasol. Also, please bring a raincoat or a folding umbrella with you in case it rains.

  • Bring your Visa (card, mobile etc.) or cash

    You can only use Visa and cash (Japanese yen) to make payments at the venues, and using your Visa to pay safely with contactless transactions is recommended. Please make sure you carry at least one of the above, as there will be no ATMs at the venues.

  • Opening 210 min before start

    Opening time differs by sport, venue and session and is subject to change without prior notice. Check Latest Schedule before you leave and allow for extra time.

  • Accessibility

    If you wish to use a UD cab, please make a reservation on your own in advance. For information on barrier-free environment, facilities and services, check Accessibility-related Information.

  • Keeping your child safe

    The venue is expected to be crowded, so please make sure your children don't get lost. Please ask for a name tag at information centre if desired.

  • Wi-Fi information

  • Lost property

  • Prepare shoes, clothes, and insect repellent

    Some of the spectating areas are grassy or sloped, so please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Also, please be careful of insect bites (spray cans are prohibited, so please use other anti-bug products).

Security&Safety tips

  • Prohibited items

    No hazardous items, weapons, and items that may hinder the Games operation. In principle, foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals cannot be brought into venues. For these information, check Prohibited items Information. No cloak service. Dispose of prohibited items if identified at bag check.

  • Infection measures

    Be sure to check information on Infection Measures in advance. We appreciate your cooperation with our efforts to protect the health of all spectators.

  • No smoking

    There is no smoking area at this venue. Refrain from smoking en route to and in the vicinity of the venue to ensure safety for spectators.

  • Venue rules

    Check Prohibited Acts in advance to ensure a pleasant time for everyone.

  • No Wi-Fi routers

  • No re-entry

    Please note that once you leave the venue, you cannot re-enter.

  • No folding chair

    Please be advised that folding chairs will not be allowed in the venue.
