For the Aomori Prefecture Paralympic Flame Festival, seven cities and towns throughout the prefecture will carry out the flame lighting, and the flame gathering will be carried out at the Sannai-Maruyama Site in Aomori City, which is the largest nationally designated special historic site in Aomori and part of the Jomon Archaeological Sites in Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku, which been listed as a World Heritage inscription in July 2021.
After visiting various locations throughout the prefecture, the Paralympic flame will leave from the Minamiyama Outdoor Sports Facility in Misawa City, where both the public and private sectors have been actively involved in creating a leading inclusive society host town. Misawa City will be hosting the Canadian national wheelchair rugby team for their pre-Games training camp.

In Aomori Prefecture, the Paralympic flame will visit mainly places such as welfare facilities for the impaired persons and schools in 11 cities and towns throughout the prefecture.
The Paralympic flame will visit Aomori City, Hirosaki City, Hachinohe City, Kuroishi City, Towada City, Misawa City, Hiranai Town, Tsuruta Town, Nakadomari Town, Noheiji Town and Nambu Town.
