Zhou backs up qualifying performance with win
The 23-year-old Zhou had warned of her intentions in the heats a day earlier, when she came second to McFadden in their qualifier, finishing just 0.16s behind her U.S. rival.
The American was aiming for a 1500m threepeat following gold medal performances at Rio 2016 and London 2012, and missing out on the podium means she remain on 19 Paralympic medals.
