Allyson Felix is just getting started. The American track legend might have ended her stellar Olympic career winning seven golds, three silvers and one bronze but she intends to continue being an active voice for women, especially mothers: “Women who came before me, they opened the door for me. I want to do the same for other women. I want to open the door. I want to extend a hand. I want to help them through their journey. And I hope that they see that, you know, things can be done differently. You don't have to go the traditional route. And so we want to disrupt things. We want to change the game.” And by the way, Felix has not announced her retirement from the sport yet. There is still a chance that we will see her compete at the world championships 2022 in Eugene.
