Gable Steveson is off to the Olympic Games! The University of Minnesota junior defeated former two-time World Championship bronze medallist Nick Gwiazdowski twice to earn a spot on Team USA for Tokyo 2020 this summer.

He even capped off the victory with his signature backflip.

Back-to-back Champion

Australia's Ash Barty retained her world no.1 status and her second successive Miami Open. Unfortuntely her opponent, Bianca Andreescu of Canada, was forced to retire from the match with an injury in the second set.

Captain of Australia's WNT scored a first half hat-trick for her English club Chelsea which saw her move joint top of the Super League Golden Boot standings.

What an ippon!

The World Judo Tour was in Antalya, Turkey last weekend with reigning European Judo Champion (men's +100 kg) Tamerlan Bashaev taking the last gold medal on offer. Check out his ippon during his semi-final win over world no.1 Lukas Krpalek.
