Johnny Fitzpatrick had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1930 British Empire Games 4×110 yards Relay (with Jim Brown, Ralph Adams, and the non-Olympian Leigh Miller), 2nd in the 1930 British Empire Games 220 yards, 3rd in the 1930 British Empire Games 100 yards.
