Dolfi Gruber won 33 Austrian titles in 5000 metres (1956 and 1957), 10000 metres (1956, 1957, 1959, 1961, and 1962), 25 km (1963, 1955-1958, 1960, 1961, and 1965), marathon (1952-1963), 3×1000 metres relay (1951, 1953, 1955, and 1956), and 3000 metres Steeplechase (1958 and 1959).
