Aatos Jaskari was the best Finnish freestyle bantamweight wrestler in the 1930s. The high point of his career was at the 1932 Olympics, where he won a bronze medal. He also participated at the 1936 Olympics, placing fifth. During his career, Jaskari won six Finnish titles: in 1931-33, 1935 and 1937 in freestyle bantamweight and in 1931 in Greco-Roman bantamweight. Jaskari worked as a farmhand, and his son, Tauno, was also a wrestler who competed at four consecutive Olympics, starting in 1952.
