1980: Sebastian Coe of Great Britain raises his arms in celebration as he crosses the finish line to win the men's1500m race at the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow, USSR. Seb Coe, one of the world's outstanding middle distance runners, won two goldmedals in the 1500 metres at both the 1980 Games in Moscow and the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984, as well as the silver medals for the 800 metres in both these celebrations. He worked on the first Athletes Commissions of the IOC and addressed the1981 Congress in Barden Barden calling for lifetime bans for drug abuse. He is now a Member of Parliament in Great Britain.
