Simo Saloranta was a Finnish distance runner who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics. Saloranta was Finnish Champion in the 5K in 1961, 1963, and 1964; and in the 10K in 1960. He was capped 21 times for Finland, winning six races in dual meets from 1959-65.
Personal Bests: 5000 – 13:53.4 (1964); 10000 – 29:38.4 (1964).
