Cindy Ngamba was born in Cameroon and later moved to the UK at the age of 11. As a young girl, she was always interested in sports and initially joined a football team. However, she eventually discovered that boxing was her true passion.
Ngamba found a second family with the GB Boxing Team and went on to become a three-time English national champion. She also made history by becoming the first-ever refugee boxer to qualify for the Olympic Games for Paris 2024 and by becoming the first Refugee Olympic Team member to win an Olympic medal.
