Charles Thaon set a French record in the 500 m with his personal best of 46.8 sec. Later he acted as Secretary General of the Fédération francaise des sports de Glace (French Federation of Ice Sports). He probably died in or before 1945.

Personal Bests: 500 – 46.8 (1929); 1500 – 2:44.2 (1928); 5000 – 10:09.0 (1927).
