バイオグラフィー

Carl Van Duyne raced the Finn Class for the United States at the 1967 and 1971 Pan American Games and the 1968 Olympics, winning silver medals at both Pan Ams. A student at Princeton, Van Duyne won the US Intercollegiate Single-Handed Championships. He later designed the first mini-Laser boat. Van Duyne represented the Mantoloking Yacht Club in New Jersey. He represented sailing on the Athlete's Advisory Council of the US Olympic Committee and on the President's Council of Sports, and was also vice president of the International Finn Association. Van Duyne is a member of the Barnegat Bay Sailing Hall of Fame. He died quite young from cancer.
