Biografia

Robin Lee was US National Champion for five consecutive years, 1935-39, in singles. In 1932, when he was only 12, Lee became the youngest ever winner of the US Junior title. Lee won silver medals in singles at the 1935 and 1939 North American Championships, and competed twice at the World Championships, placing 9th in 1932 and 8th in 1936. During World War II, Lee served in the Navy. After the War, he turn professional and skated in ice shows, later coaching at the Figure Skating Club of Minneapolis, retiring from that position in 1991. He died of bone cancer.
