Biografia

After winning a silver medal behind Canada's Elaine Tanner in the 100 m backstroke at the 1967 Pan American Games, Kaye Hall gained her revenge at the next year's Olympics by beating Tanner for the title and setting a new world record. Hall also claimed a share in a second world record as a member of the winning medley relay team. At the 1969 Canadian championships she won five gold medals and, representing the Tacoma SC, she won three AAU titles and retired after taking three golds at the 1970 Universiade in 100 m backstroke, 4×100 metres freestyle (with the non-Olympians Marsha McCuen, Laura Benoit, and Laura Fritz), and 4×100 metres medley (with Lynn Colella and the non-Olympians Linda Kurtz and Marsha McCuen).
