Biografia

One of the top women’s racers for over a decade, Judith Arndt reached her peak in 2004. That year, she won the UCI Women’s Road World Cup, and the world road racing title and finished second in the Olympic road race. In that latter competition, Arndt crossed the line showing her middle finger, to express her discontent with her life partner Petra Rossner unexpectedly being cut from the team – she was fined for the offensive display. Arndt had earlier claimed an Olympic bronze in 1996, in the individual pursuit on the track, and has won five World Championship medals in the time trial (three silvers, two bronze), as well as a bronze in the 2008 road race. Other wins include four victories in the Gracia Orlová and numerous German titles.
