Biografia

Alsace-born German Jacques Person was killed in action during World War I as a member of the 7. Thuringia Infantery-Regiment Nr. 96. He participated in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics in the 400, 800, and the 4x400 relay, with the relay team setting a new German record. Person was educated as an economist at Strasbourg, France, and was related to well-known Berlin sports administrator Arthur Person (1926-1993), who led the German initiative "Youth training for the Olympics".

Personal Bests: 400 – 51.8 (1909); 800 – 2:00.0 (1912).
