Franz STERZL

Franz Sterzl was a three-time Austrian champion in decathlon (1932, 1935, 1936). At the 1936 Berlin Olympics he retired after the eighth event, pole vault. At the 1930 Universiade he started for “German Austria,” finishing 12th in the pentathlon. Nothing else is known about his life.
