Angelika Neuner competed in four Winter Olympic Games, winning a silver medal in 1992, a bronze medal in 1998, and placing fourth in 1994 and 2002. Her 1992 silver medal was won by placing second to her sister, Doris Neuner. In singles Angelika Neuner won a bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships and the 1996 Europeans. She also won five medals in the mixed team event at the World Championships, with golds in 1996-97, a silver in 1993, and bronzes in 1995 and 2000, adding a bronze medal at the 2002 Europeans in mixed team.
Angelika Neuner carried the Austrian flag at the 2002 Salt Lake City Opening Ceremony. She later became a judge and recited the judge’s oath at the 2012 Youth Olympic Winter Games. In 1992 Neuner was awarded a Silver Medal for Meritorious Service to the Austrian Republic, while in 1998 she was given the Gold Medal.
