Since the Games, the venue has been further developed as a Nordic training centre and recreational facility for cross-country skiing, biathlon, winter tubing, and winter festivals.  During the summer months, the venue is used for mountain biking, golfing, and a variety of summer events (such as the Wasatch Music Festival) as well as various youth training camps for skiers to work on their skills out of season.

The Solider Hollow Nordic Centre offers a variety of training programmes for youth and adults throughout the year. For example, the ‘Soldier Hollow Nordic Kickers and Gliders’ Programme is dedicated to children from 6 to -12 years old, with little or no ski experience to allow them to discover cross-country skiing. The Soldier Hollow Devo Team is for youths aged 12-13 who have ski experience and an interest in racing, and the Soldier Hollow Comp Team is a year-round training programme focusing on developing strength, endurance and technique.

Between 2004 and 2016, the Soldier Hollow Nordic Centre operated independently as a cross-country ski venue. Since 2016, the venue has been under the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation’s administration. The State Park is owned by the State of Utah and is part of Wasatch Mountain State Park.
