The mobile platform is composed of two domes, and is designed to actively and positively engage visitors by providing information and interactive tools to show how people can get active and live more positively. The Showcase will also celebrate Coca-Cola’s commitment during its rich Olympic history, and fans will be able to get their photo taken with the Sochi 2014 Olympic Torch.
After the Games, the Showcase will travel to cities across Russia to engage whole communities in remarkable experiences of active healthy living until the FIFA World Cup, which is being hosted by Russia in 2018.
Since 1992, Coca-Cola has also helped spread the excitement of the Olympic Games by supporting the Torch Relay. The Sochi 2014 Torch Relay was the largest Olympic Torch Relay to date, travelling though Russia and covering 65,000km in 23 days. Coca-Cola supported the event with brand ambassadors greeting spectators from a specially illuminated Coca-Cola “Vivaisya” truck.
