OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1. APPLICATION:

First, you will need to apply directly on our career page for a vacancy that you believe matches your profile. You will have to upload a CV, cover letter and any relevant certifications that would help support your candidacy. Once you have completed your online profile and application, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of your application.

As we will be communicating with you primarily via email, we kindly ask that you regularly check your spam/junk mail folder as our emails may end up there.

2. CV selection:

The positions are usually open for application for 15 days. At the end of that time, our Talent Acquisition Team will carefully review each application and will get back to you within a few weeks.

Assessment (Depending on the position you are applying for):

You may be asked to complete a games assessment. This assessment will allow us to assess your skills.

3. First interview:

If your application has been selected, you will be contacted by email for a first interview. First interviews will either be a digital interview or a Skype interview. This ensures that each applicant will have an equal opportunity to interview, no matter where they are located.

4. Second interview:

If you pass the first interview, you will be contacted for what is usually a face-to-face interview in our offices in Lausanne. You will usually meet the HR Business Partner and the hiring manager, as well as people from the team/business. You may be asked to take part in a case study or test linked to the technical skills required for the position.

Additional interviews:

In some cases, you may be asked to participate in additional interviews in which you will potentially meet the director of the relevant department.

5. Congratulations!

You have been successful and passed the last round of interviews, and an online offer has been made to you via our job portal! Log back in and check the “my offers” menu.

Games Assessment

The games assessment is designed:

  • to allow candidates to display their cognitive and reasoning skills.
  • to help our recruitment team focus on what matters, reduce bias and make more objective decisions.
  • to give us neutral results and data to assist our recruitment process.

The games assessment will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will consist of different kinds of games to give us a well-rounded evaluation of candidates’ capabilities.

Digital Interview

WHAT IS IT?

A digital interview is just like a video call, except you will be able to record it in the comfort of your home and in your own time. Once you complete it, your interview comes straight back to us and will be viewed only by the assigned recruiter and hiring manager.

How does it work?

A digital interview can be completed using a laptop, smartphone, tablet or anything with a forward-facing video camera attached to it (yes! It is that easy to arrange). The interview will be made up of a series of pre-recorded technical, situational and/or behavioural questions. These questions will be prepared by our Talent Acquisition Team and the hiring manager.

They will appear via text on your screen during the digital interview. You will then be asked to respond via video or text, but you will have some time to prepare your response before the system officially starts recording your answer. The digital interview will last approximately 30 minutes.

What are the benefits? 

Digital interviews are great because they help expedite the recruitment process while respecting your valuable time. They allow candidates to be interviewed almost immediately, making the process faster than the traditional one of waiting weeks for a scheduled appointment.

We believe this interview style gives you the opportunity to highlight your skills, experience and personality and truly breathe life into your resume. Digital interviews also ensure that each candidate gets the exact same questions and even allows for you to have a quick practice to warm up before answering.

Is this your first time conducting a digital video interview?

No problem! Our digital video interviewing process will allow you to complete a practice question before you begin the recorded interview to increase your comfort level with the technology. The practice question isn’t recorded and can be completed as often as necessary until you’re ready to begin.

The use of digital interviews allows us to have the best of both worlds. It allows for candidates anywhere in the world to interview for a position at any time and helps ensure a fair and equal recruitment process for everyone

Tips for making the most of your digital video interview
  • This is a real interview! Be sure to treat it the same way and dress as if you're going for an interview in person – well-groomed and presentable.
  • Practise in advance so you can feel confident with being yourself. We want to see your personality!
  • Find a quiet space where you can focus free from distractions.
  • Be mindful of your background and lighting. Have a light source in front of you and limit the number of bright lights behind you.
  • Ensure you have a strong internet connection.
  • Take some time to get to know the IOC and why you would be a good fit for the role.
  • Remember to be yourself! You don’t need to be perfect, simply focus on your passion for the role and bringing your resume to life!
