German gymnast Walter Jesinghaus competed at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, finishing fourth in the team all-around event. He also finished fourth in the free system team all-around. The teams represented the Allgemeiner Akademischer Turnerbund Leipzig. Jesinghaus studied philology and was killed-in-action during World War I in 1918, while serving with the 10th Company, 267 No. Infantry Reserve.
