Rita BLANKENBURG

Rita Blankenburg from Berliner TSC had only one appearance at Olympic Games. She started in the 3,000 m speed skating event at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Games, finishing 17th. Blankenburg never won an East German national title.

Personal Bests: 500 – 48.9 (1966); 1000 – 1:41.2 (1966); 1500 – 2:32.5 (1966); 3000 – 5:40.2 (1966).
