बायोग्राफी

Kenny Harrison was a triple jumper who won gold in the event at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and at the 1991 World Championships. Harrison jumped in college at Kansas State University, where he was a three-time NCAA Champion, winning the long jump indoors in 1986, and the triple jump outdoors in 1986 and indoors in 1988. Harrison was named All-American 11 times in his college career, and was the first track & field athlete to be inducted into the Kansas State University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Harrison was a four-time USA Champion in the triple jump, winning in 1990-91 and 1996-97. He set two American records in his career, both at the Atlanta Olympics, with an early mark of 17.99 followed by his gold medal winning mark of 18.09, which through 2018 still leaves Harrison in third-place on the all-time triple jump performer list. The mark remains an Olympic record as of 2020. Harrison also won the triple jump at the 1990 Goodwill Games and a silver medal at the 1987 World University Games.

Harrison was inducted into the USATF Hall of Fame in 2013. He later formed Signature Athletics, which helps elite athletes with speed and agility training.
