Jamal VALIZADEH

Born in Iran, Valizadeh was a national-level wrestler in his home country before being forced to flee to Türkiye in 2014. The sport took a back seat during this period as he started working 16 hours a day to try to survive on what he could earn.

In 2016, Jamal arrived in France, where he is currently studying for a master's degree at the university while also training rigorously with the French national team. He was a member of the Refugee Olympic Team at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
