बायोग्राफी

Helen Sampson was a painter and textile designer. After the turn of the century, she studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London and, almost 20 years later, attended the Central School of Arts and Crafts (today the Central School of Art and Design). Her teachers included painters John Cooper, founder of the East London Group, and Bernard Meninsky, associated with the Bloomsbury Group. She exhibited at the New English Art Club, Women’s International Art Club, the leftist Artists' International Association, and others. Her residence was in Saltdean, Sussex.
