Biographie

Wendel Suckow is best known for winning a gold medal at the 1993 World Championships, the first American to win any medal at a major international in luge at the senior level. Suckow competed in both singles and doubles in 1992. After competing at three Winter Olympics he retired from luge and began work as an account manager for Team Worldwide, a logistics firm. He later switched to The Terminal Corporation in Baltimore, again working as an account manager for that logistics firm.
