Biographie

George Finnegan is one of only five men (all from 1904) to have won two boxing medals in the same year. Representing the Olympic Club of San Francisco, Finnegan defeated Miles Burke to win the flyweight division, but lost to Oliver Kirk in the bantamweight class. There were only two fighters in both classes.
