Biographie

Ski jumper Dieter Neuendorf participated at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympics with the mixed German team, and at Grenoble in 1968 representing East Germany. At Innsbruck he finished fifth on the normal hill and eighth on the large hill. At Grenoble he was seventh in the normal hill event and 15th in the large hill event. Domestically he won both events in 1965 and 1966, and the normal hill event again in 1967.

At the 1966 Ski Jumping Worlds in Oslo, Neuendorf won a silver medal in the normal hill event. The same year he came third at the Ski Flying Week in Planica. At the Four Hill Tournaments between 1965-68, he won three single events, finished second in the total results in 1965/6, and third in the following two years. After his retirement in 1971, Neuendorf became a ski jumping coach.
