Biographie

Chuck Pandolph was a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake, New York, next door to Lake Placid, and in 1941 was named King of the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival. He served with the Marines in both World War II and the Korean War, fighting in WWII at the battles for Tarawa and Saipan. After his military career ended he became a policeman in Saranac Lake from 1956-61. He then opened a small restaurant, Chuck’s Restaurant, in the town. He was a past captain of the Fire Department, and a member of the Elks Lodge, the American Legion, and the Policeman’s Benevolent Association.
