Jurgen RIEMENSCHNEIDER

Flatwater canoeist Hans-Jürgen Riemenschneider partnered Horst Mattern in the K-2 1,000 event at the 1972 München Olympics. Both finished eighth in the final. In the K-1 500 Riemenschneider earned three silvers at the West German nationals: 1971, 1973, and 1974, and also in 1973 in the 1,000 metres.
