Jana HLAVATY

A native of Czechoslovakia, Jana Hlavaty was naturalized as a US citizen in January 1976, enabling her to compete for the US at the 1976 Winter Olympics. Hlavaty had a masters degree from Charles University in Prague. In 1978 she began a long-time career as the director of cross-country skiing at Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado.
