Biografía

Fritz Pollard, son of the Brown football immortal, attended the University of North Dakota and was a student there when he won his Olympic bronze medal in 1936. While at UND, Pollard played football, ran track, and was on the school boxing team. He later attended law school and began a career as a physical educator in Chicago. He was eventually appointed director of the U.S. State Department's Office of Equal Employment Opportunity.
