Aristidis KONSTANTINIDIS

Konstantinidis won the first Olympic road race, in spite of falling three times. He eventually completed the race on the bike of a pacemaker, as his own ride had been damaged. Konstantinidis was a bicycle mechanic himself, and had co-founded the Athens Cycling Association.
