Zoi Sadowski Synnott became New Zealand’s first ever Olympic Winter Games gold medallist when she won the snowboard women’s slopestyle at Beijing 2022.
The 20-year-old nailed... her third run in the final to claim gold ahead of American Julia Marino, while Tess Coady (AUS) claimed bronze. Sadowski Synnott also took silver in the snowboard women’s big air, to go with the bronze she won in that event in PyeongChang 2018.
