About this episode
Paula Moltzan is an American skier who specialises in slalom. She learnt how to ski on the same slope as Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn. In 2015, Paula became the junior world champion but her lifelong dream of being a pro was put under threat when she was cut from the US team. She decided to go to college and continued racing. Eventually, her determination and skill earned her a place back on Team USA. At Beijing 2022, she became a Winter Olympian. We spoke to Moltzan during that competition to talk about her journey, a friendship with Ryan Cochran-Siegle and his silver medal win, why Lindsey Vonn is an inspiration, and much more.
