We Have A Goal: Sport and Peacebuilding hosted by Amy Purdy with IOC Young Leaders

About this episode

The second of the four episodes of the podcast series “We Have a Goal” focuses on promoting peace through sport. Paralympic medallist Amy Purdy is joined once again by three inspiring IOC Young Leaders: Sophia Papamichalopoulos OLY (Cyprus), Waleed Abu Nada (Jordan) and Elena Mercedes Haro Lima (Guatemala), as they speak about their IOC Young Leader projects which contribute to peacebuilding in their respective communities using sport as a catalyst. The discussion brings to life how sport can contribute to securing sustainable and peaceful future for all, which is also the global theme of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace on 6th April 2022.
