The Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome is an outstanding showcase, already built and operational 10 years before the opening date of the Paris 2024 Games. This flagship of the French Cycling Federation, whose headquarters have been based at the velodrome since it opened, was built in 2014. This high-level venue regularly hosts various French teams in its ultramodern facilities. The velodrome’s modular and flexible design, illustrated by its vast central area, enables it to regularly host training sessions and events for other sports.

Created specifically with a view to staging international competitions, the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome hosted the French Track Championships in 2014, the World Championships in 2015 and the European Championships in 2016, which will be followed by the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024.

Legacy

Following the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome will resume its role as the flagship for French cycling, home to the French Cycling Federation’s headquarters, and host to training camps for national teams and the biggest international track cycling competitions.
