Théo Moreau will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:
From a young age, Theo has been passionate about sports, gravitating towards triathlon. He spends most of his time training for Ironman competitions, a gruelling discipline and a test of strength and endurance.
His commitment has led him to compete in the Amateur World Championships in Las Vegas and Majorca, where he finished third in his age category. In addition to his remarkable feats, Theo, who lost his hearing after contracting meningitis, took to the stage in the 2022 Deaflympics in Brazil. He clinched the title of Deaflympic cycling champion in a time trial. Theo is a true fighter. Straddling both able-bodied and disabled sports, he is out to prove that deafness does not define limits.
