Nicolas Thevenin

Nicolas Thevenin will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Nicolas is a top-level triathlete with no less than 9 participations in the Ironman event under his belt, the last of which he completed in 13 hours and 12 minutes. This former basketballer has become a lifeguard, using his expertise to teach swimming to children in the Haute-Marne area.

With his great generosity, he loves to pass on his knowledge and passion. A proud ambassador for Enedis, a corporate partner of the Paris 2024 Games, he proudly wears their colours at every marathon in which he takes part. Outside of sport, Nicolas is also an accomplished musician, playing drums in the band Sensitive. He is also actively involved in an association that helps young people in difficulty in Madagascar.
