Messaouda Marguier 

Messaouda Marguier will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Messaouda, as deputy chairwoman of the French Medical Association, demonstrates a deep concern for the health of the children in medical care. In spite of her professional obligations, she is fully involved in the community’s activities, in particular through participation in conferences, in the local child protection observatory’s steering committee, as well as in recent work concerning children’s personal projects and the establishment’s projects as well.

Her initiative gave rise to the project to develop the Madeleine health centre, which promises to facilitate access to a diverse range of treatments, from physiotherapy and speech therapy to nutrition, osteopathy and chiropody.
