Maryvonne Ermine

Maryvonne Ermine will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

Maryvonne, a night nurse at Rennes University Hospital, is also a dedicated sports advocate and highly engaged member of the Cercle Paul Bert, an organisation that runs a wide range of sports activities. Among her main achievements are launching the rollerblading section and chairing the annual event Rennes sur Roulettes, which attracts around 7,000 participants and nearly 25,000 spectators every year.

This event welcomes athletes of all levels, from beginners to internationally renowned high-level athletes. Furthermore, Maryvonne has been involved for many years with the Rennes Sports Office, serving as both vice-president and president. In recognition of her dedication, she was honoured with the Gold Medal of Youth and Sports by Rennes City Hall, as well as the Citizenship Medal bestowed by the department.
