Justine Griboval

Justine Griboval portera la Flamme Olympique. Voici son histoire :

Justine overcame her fear of heights to become a climbing instructor for the French Alpine Club and it was a decision which changed her life. Three years ago, she did not do much sport, but she decided to defy her fear of heights. Thanks to climbing and the support of her community, Justine gained confidence, strength and agility, which are qualities that have also helped her in her work as a nurse.

At the same time, she took up cycling to improve her physical condition. These activities helped her to improve her health and adopt a healthier lifestyle. At the start of 2023, Justine became a climbing wall instructor. Since then, she has taught the club’s teenagers how to climb, takes part in training of new members and organises introductions for people who wish to discover this sport. As a volunteer, she strives to promote climbing and to raise awareness of the impact of outdoor sports on the environment, particularly in the mountains, in accordance with the values of the French Alpine Club.

Justine continues to set herself new challenges, such as climbing an icefall. She plans to take a training course to share this unique experience and continue to overcome her fear of heights. By becoming an Olympic Torchbearer, Justine wants to convey the message that everyone is capable of overcoming their fears and making their dreams come true.
